This project is meant to reimagine
Gijs Van Hensbergen’s book about
the Sagrada Familia.
Van Hensbergen’s book goes into details about the complications of building the Basilica and why it has taken so long for it to be finished. This being said, the purpose of this project was to give his book a more imaginative look.
The concept of this new look was to make every aspect of it look unfinished. This was achieved by turning details of the basilica into sketch-like illustrations and adding overlays to make them look old and rugged. By doing so, it gives everything the look of being an old architecture plan that was found and restored to be studied.
